Rattie Ratz was established in 1998 and has grown into one of the largest non-profit rescue organizations in the country dedicated exclusively to domestic pet RATS and other small animals. Rattie Ratz operates a limited access rescue and accepts needy rats from local overwhelmed shelters. We are dedicated to responsible pet guardianship, a lifelong commitment to companion animals and a respect for all animal life. Improving the lives of small animal companions and their guardians is the primary focus of our rescue efforts.

Funding:
Rattie Ratz is a non-profit organization supported by individual goodwill donations, adoption donations, and special events. The organization is governed by a volunteer board of directors, which oversees an annual operating budget of approximately $10,000.
Employees:
Rattie Ratz is an all-volunteer organization and currently has 10-15 regular volunteers and about 20 casual volunteers.
